What 99 % Stock market Pundits/ Experts/ Educators won't ever tell you !!

Over a period of my 5.5 years learning about Capital markets i have come across a few types of crooks :

The first ones are those who say that it is really simple & easy, you just need to learn a few things from us via our paid course and you are all set to become a profitable and filthy rich Investor/ Trader that you will not even be able to count that money and you will be sipping martini’s all day while at your vacation in the Caribbean within a span of 2 years or so.

The second ones are those who are themselves in "Net loss" but still proclaim to be an expert and promise that they will make you an expert in no time and all you have to do is take their paid course.

The third ones are those who sometimes make a dime and keep showing it off for weeks. These are people who pick a selective successful trade and draw some lines on the back dated or saved chart and as a topping put some indicators at the underlay & overlay and use a few technical bookish terms to portray themselves as an expert and ask you to pay for their recommendations or buy their course.

The fourth ones are those who draw some lines on the chart and fit the underlay indicators by tweaking parameters to show a “Perfect buy or sell signal” on their setup which by the way changes with every other Trade taken. To try to be even more convincing, they repaint the overlay indicators (Basically the indicator on the price keeps adjusting itself to show a "Perfect resistance or support area") & ask you to pay for their unrivaled, all weather proof recommendations.

The fifth kind are those who say that it is so tough to make money in the market that there is no way you will ever be able to do so on your own and you will end up either losing every cent you have or your hair will turn grey by the time you figure it out & ask you to pay them for their course/ recommendations.

The sixth type are those who give 10 recommendations in a day. 2 are exited at cost, 4 hit the stop-loss & if you are lucky 4 reach the 1 to 1 risk-reward ratio target but at the end there is no profit. 4 stocks which reach target are constantly shown as the best recommendations in the world.

I am not making this stuff up, i have seen it with my eyes when i was trying to learn and tested each of those types only to find out the real crony behind each of them. These people will try to say everything up/ down/ left/ right/ center/ do sweet talks/ discourage people/ push them to buy/ make prospect learners feel bad about themselves by being egoistic, disrespectful and arrogant just to make that sale.

Did you know that a big brokerage firm had 1 lakh clients and they gave "Buy" recommendation to 50 % and a "Sell" recommendation to other 50 % on daily basis just to portray themselves as market experts and generate their daily income.

One time i was watching a business channel and a viewer on “Ask the expert program” asked the so called experts that i bought “XYZ” stock at 300 and now it is trading at 20 and i am losing 40 lakh rupees, what should i do now ?

What really shocked me was that the Anchor’s were laughing at that person’s face on live national television while the so called expert’s were giving their silly advice in a taunting manner.

Let us take yet another example when your broker calls you or texts you or messages you on whatsapp or they give their recommendations on the trading platform itself.

Are they really interested in you making money consistently ? 

They will give you every tool to make you place more & more trades just so they make their money on a daily basis. Sadly, that is what most "Tools & Indicators in Technical analysis are made for" !!

Everyday 100's of Indicators are released.

I am not trying to discourage anyone, I just want innocent people to learn the right way to "Trade & Invest", make an informed decision for themselves and stay away from crooks. 

After struggling for almost 4 years myself, it gives me some comfort knowing that i am not trying to cheat anyone as an "Educator".

Yes sometimes i get the market wrong, the stop-loss gets hit, have to book some loss but the Trading setup & Risk management system is in place. You will have to find your “HOLY GRAIL” by learning, taking trades, booking some loss.

Am i an expert ?

The answer is “No”.

I am not even perfect as a blogger yet, let alone anything else.

I have paid "Tuition fee" to the market & while trying to learn i have written a personal diary full of mistakes that i committed or the wrong learning's that i acquired.

"Stop-loss" does get hit sometimes but the "Risk management system" is in place. I pay heed to "Position sizing".
